“Parents and kids tell us time and time again that their
experience on the river has been life-changing,” says Brandon
Lake, Vice President of Marketing for Western River Expeditions.
“People walk away with a new perspective on things because
nature has taught them to slow down, relax and enjoy life.”
Each Western River family trip builds on the theme of an outdoor
experience, with activities ranging from the extreme to the mild.
To complete the family experience, a designated Fun Director shares
a generous supply of games and activities for kids of all ages.
Face painting, learning about unique geology and plants, and exciting

“This was an incredible trip for our family. We have not
stopped talking about how much fun we had and how great the people
were that we met,” said Jan Cortes of Connecticut, a Western
River guest. “We have so many wonderful memories. This trip
was a true gift. We will treasure it for the rest of our lives.
Thank you for a family vacation of a lifetime.”
