This trip was truly life changing for me. I know, it sounds trite, but it was. I had never camped, and frankly, was not what I would consider an adventure traveler. The mind was always willing, then the last minute hit, and well.... But this trip was wonderful. Our guides (our raft had Travis and Mel) were terrific. They knew their business, did it well (both on and off the river), and made me feel comfortable and safe. Camping was like sleeping with the windows wide open, except better! The sky was better than anything you could get in a hotel room! The Grand Canyon was an extraordinary experience-it is difficult to adequately put it into words. My wife bought me this trip as a 50th birthday present. I went with 6 of my best friends. Fantastic! It was everything and more than we expected. You thought of everything. The food was great! Well,what can I say other than Absolutely Fantastic! I was travelling on my own, and so was a little daunted by the fact that I would be away from civilisation for so long with a group of strangers! My fears were soon forgotten, and both the guides and guests were great fun. The Bar Ten Ranch was a terrific start to the trip, and the cowboys weren’t that bad either! The food was amazing, so dieting is certainly not an option! If you want to relax yet have a laugh and adventure at the same time, then this is the trip for you! Jo Hambling - North England
