This was an incredible trip. We have not stopped talking about how much fun we had and how great the people were that we met. As great as everything was, truly the guides were the key to making this trip so fantastic. They were all absolutely amazing; they were not only expert rafters, but great cooks, funny, outgoing, kind, etc., etc. We all miss them.We have so many wonderful memories. This trip was a true gift. As a local I am often asked why I don’t go on Vacation in California or Nevada. One look at some of pictures from some of our river trips ( this is my third trip with Western River) and what does Disneyland or Las Vegas have to compare? Disneyland has no ride to match thrills you get when you hit white water. As for the glitter of Las Vegas, the Milky Way far out shines anything Las Vegas has to offer. The food is great and you just can beat the ambiance, Dinner served at sunset with the red rock in the back ground is quite breath taking. Will I do another river trip? The answer is yes I will. I recently returned from a trip down Cataract Canyon. It was a great trip. I did a trip last year with another company and only wish I could have found Western a year ago. You are truly a class act. The equipment was fantastic (cots, folding chairs and new clip tents), food was great, and the guides for sure made the trip. I would not hesitate to recommend Western to anyone and everyone. We can’t say enough wonderful things about the river guides who were friendly, professional and fun! From the breathtaking scenery and exhilarating whitewater to the quality of the supplies and substantial menu with excellent food, the trip was an adventure of a lifetime. Nothing was overlooked. We were particularly impressed with the care taken for the environment. We literally left only footprints behind. We hope to return in the not to distant future for another incredible experience.
