Colorado River Rafting - Westwater Canyon » 1 Day

You'll meet your guides at Western River Expeditions' Moab Adventure Center on Main Street in the exciting town of Moab, Utah. From here you'll enjoy a scenic drive along the Colorado River to our launch point near the Colorado-Utah border.

Launch onto a calm stretch of the Colorado River, perfect for swimming and relaxing. As you get to know your guide and those on your trip, we'll stop at a historic miner's cabin, learn about the incredibly unique geology in this area and search for desert wildlife.

The canyon begins to narrow and get much deeper as we stop for lunch just above Little Dolores Rapid. Enjoy a delicious riverside buffet lunch. After lunch, we'll have a whitewater orientation - then get ready to hold on! Funnel Falls, Skull Rapid, Sock-it-to-Me and a host of other exhilirating rapids provide fun and excitement through the rest of the canyon.

After our last rapid, the canyon widens again and the river calms giving you one last chance to kick back and soak in the astounding beauty America's most incredible river. From the takeout point at Cisco, we'll return back to Moab.
