The Snake River, Hell's Canyon trip travels a distance of close to 80 miles. Throughout each day, you will have the chance to get off the rafts and stretch your legs on a hike to old homesteads, gorgeous overlooks, and maybe Indian pictographs from the Nez Perce.
You'll want to try the various rafts available on this multi-day expedition. There are three boat types to choose from, each one offering something very unique in ride and experience. You don't have to be an expert in whitewater rafting, or have any prior experience with river rafting to enjoy each raft type.
We call it luxury camping. In order to make your trip run as smoothly and comfortably as possible, we use a cargo boat to carry camping gear, food and supplies ahead of the main group. The cargo raft arrives at camp early to set up your tents and the kitchen for the group. Having the cargo raft carry all the gear, allows our smaller rafts to be lighter and more maneuverable, which makes for a safer ride with more bounce and splash.
I felt extremely pampered while "roughing it". Overall this trip had it all. It was peaceful and exciting. Had a perfect combination of being in the great outdoors, yet having gourmet meals and service.
