I couldn't be more impressed with our guides on the Green River / Desolation Canyon trip. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the trip. They proved to be professional, energetic, enthusiastic, and extremely competent, as well as being outstanding role models for all of the kids on the trip. You have some exceptional young people working for your company and I look forward to recommending Western to friends and family in the future. Great job Tiffany, Jayce, Ryan, and Brian!

Highly recommend this trip!

On the river we play in the mud, we make little drip castles, and the kids get so excited.

The Types of Rafts in Desolation Canyon

The Types of Rafts in Desolation Canyon

Rafting the Green River, through Desolation Canyon is a great place for first-time rafting and getting familiar with whitewater rapids. Even those who have some experience with whitewater rafting can enjoy a more intimate interaction with the more friendly rapids of Desolation Canyon on an inflatable kayak, or "duckie".

One of the greatest features of this expedition is that the 60+ rapids are spread fairly evenly throughout the length of the trip so the action keeps it exciting all trip long.
