Cataract Canyon Weather & Forecast
We always hope for good weather but you should be prepared for the possibility of cooler weather and storms. This is applicable to all trips throughout the season. The following chart shows averages for the months of March through October. Temperatures and precipitation will vary. A rain storm or a cool front can happen anytime. You can find current weather forecasts at www.westernriver.com (select your trip and click the weather link). Water temperatures range from 60-75 degrees in the spring and summer.

TIP: Since weather conditions can be unpredictable, we recommend having a two-piece rainsuit available during the day. You may wish to fold it tightly and keep it in your personal day-use dry bag. (See recommended packing list for more information).
My daughter and I spent two days at the Sorrel River Ranch and the scenery and horseback riding was wonderful! Then on to the rafting! Our guides were just awesome. They were the most pleasant and entertaining people and boy could they cook!!! The food was fantastic. We had a really great group also. It was just a fantastic trip and one I would love to repeat.
