Traveling Solo? No Problem!

Gillian - England

To anyone thinking about doing this trip on their own, which I did, do not be put off, you will meet some amazing people. What more can you want in today's world than waking up when the sun rises and going to sleep when the sun sets, you have no concept of what time or day it is!!! Enjoy!

Solo, But never Alone

Sallie - California

I met a friend who told me he'd been on this life-changing trip rafting down the Colorado River. I was in the mood for some life changing, so after hearing tales of Lava and Hermit and "riding on the front," I signed up with Western River Expeditions. None of my friends were interested, so I just signed up solo. From the moment I arrived, I was never alone. I met some amazing people that week - an incredible family from Wisconsin, a veteran rafter and her daughter-in-law and her mom, and loads of other people who became quick friends. I count those six days rafting down the Colorado River as some of the best times I've ever had - by land or by boat. I have never laughed so hard (or held on so tight) as I did rafting those amazing rapids, hiking side canyons, and lounging around at night.
