We took this 4 day trip down the Colorado River in September, 2008. It was over 100 degrees each day and cooled off every night. PERFECT weather for rafting!! This was a vacation I’ll never forget. The first night out, there was a full moon over our campsite that lit up the canyon in a beautiful glow. I woke up during the night, and actually laid there just watching the canyon walls change with the light. It was just AMAZING. A once in a lifetime experience. If you’re considering making a trip like this, but don’t think you’d be able to do it, think again. We had age groups from young kids to 70+ and we all had a blast! You just have to try it!! 🙂
