This year will make my ninth trip with Western River Expeditions. What greater reference can a company have than a repeat customer? Yet, there is no way to describe how the River can get into one’s soul. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of one of my trips. I’ve made friends from all over the world. I’ve made hikes that challenged me and seen sights that are burned into my mind. I’ve traveled with 18 different guides, each one of which imparted a catalog of knowledge and information about the Grand Canyon. And yet they provide a daily medley of menus that rival any restaurant. I hope to meet 18 more of them in the future.
