In this picture my sister and I are floating down the Colorado River. In the moments between the exhilarating and freezing rapids it was always amazingly calming to soak up some of the hot sun. The contrast from being so chillingly cold that my lips chattered to a heat that was almost too hot was incomparable to anything else I have experienced. This rafting trip was the best trip of my life because it not only brought excitement and adventure; it also had moments like these that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
