I have had the gift of being able to experience the Colorado river twice. The first time was 10 years ago when we took the 3 day trip, the other was last year when we were on the river for 6 days. I have now seen over 200 miles of the canyon from the river, starting at Lee’s Fairy and ending in Lake Mead. I wish I had words or pictures to portray the majestic beauty of the journey through the Grand Canyon seeing it from the river up. Words fail me. Our guides, the food, the knowledge shared and the memories are beyond remarkable. I can not wait to experience this trip with my children just as our parents have given this gift, twice, to us.
