A Great Adventure…
We had a great experience with Western River Expeditions in Cataract Canyon.
The first two days were spent floating the river at a relaxing pace. There were plenty of breaks for swimming and hiking. Day 3 was our "rapids day" and I think I can safely say that it exceeded everyone's expectations for fun and excitement.
Our guides were outstanding: they provided interesting color commentary about what we were seeing; they prepared excellent meals three times a day (even baking a birthday cake one night and making homemade root beer for root beer floats on another); and they always maintained a fun, friendly, and professional demeanor.
I will definitely repeat with Western River in the future, though next time I will try the Snake River or perhaps the Grand Canyon.
