Western River Expeditions, Inc. (“Western River Expeditions,” “Western,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates rafting and adventure trips in remote environments. To properly prepare for and operate these trips, we sometimes ask participants to provide information concerning allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, physical considerations, or other health-related needs.

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information that may constitute “consumer health data” under applicable law, including Washington's My Health My Data Act.

Health-related information may be maintained as part of a participant or reservation record so that we can document a trip, respond to later questions, maintain appropriate operational or legal records, and provide continuity if a guest returns for another trip.

The retention period depends on the type of information, its purpose, applicable legal requirements, and whether the information is needed for records relating to a reservation, waiver, incident, insurance matter, legal claim, or other legitimate purpose.

You may request deletion of consumer health data as described below. We will honor valid deletion requests as required by applicable law, subject to any permitted legal exceptions.

We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate your identity before providing, changing, or deleting consumer health data.
