Absolutely Amazing, This Grand Canyon Vacation Ranks Up There With One of the Best Vacations I’ve Ever Had!

This Grand Canyon whitewater rafting trip was hands down one of the best vacations I've ever taken! 

Breathtaking scenery, absolutely awesome guides full of knowledge and personality, rapids, wildlife, great meals and oh did I forget to mention RAPIDS!!?

Having never done something like this before I was a little concerned, especially since I've never slept in a tent or just under the stars. Well, after the 2nd night, no more tent. Bathing in the river became a very easy (but fast) task.

We had two rafts with 14 passengers + 2 crew each. Plenty of room. Our grouping made up of 7, quickly made friends with the other couples on board which were people from the west coast to the east coast and anything in between.

This rafting trip was so much fun! My only regret is that I didn't ride on the very front going through a class 10 rapid but we are already planning our next trip so I'll get to do it then.

We saw some of the other rafts along the river and I have to say that I think Western River Expeditions has the best raft design for riding the rapids and taking in the scenery. While I didn't get to meet any of the guides from any of the other companies I can't even imagine that there are any better guides out there than our guys! Thank you Johnny, Shad, Wiley and Scotty for the amazing experience. You guys rock!!
