Awesome Colorado River Trip

I did the 2 day Cataract Canyon trip. The first few hours of Day 1 was spent in calm waters, we stopped every couple hours for brief tours, bathroom stop and lunch (which was great). The last 1/3 of the day was spent in the rapids, which were intense, we went through 23 different rapids, one right after the other.
We had freezing rain and cold weather, but the adrenaline kept us from feeling anything. It was perfect for anyone wanting to experience the heart thumping thrill of an intense river, from the safety of a guided boat.
Our guides Dan and Nick were awesome, they saw to it that everyone had a fun and enjoyable trip. They were master guides and even better cooks. The steaks that night for dinner were superb. We woke up to French toast and ham.
The second day we completed 6 more rapids and then coasted to the edge of Lake Powell where we were picked up by a van, served a delicious lunch and then headed back to Moab.
The Colorado River was beautiful, Western River guides were engaging, food was great.....wonderful experience.
