Colorado River Adventures
Wonderful Colorado River adventure - completely exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone looking to find a new adventure and push themselves to try something new, you'll be glad you did! We spent a fun day at Bar 10 Ranch where we went horseback riding, skeet shooting and took an ATV tour. Ben and his staff worked so hard to make sure we had a great day. The food was terrific and the entire experience was relaxing and fun. One of the best features was getting to know our fellow travelers BEFORE boarding our rafts. Don't miss this experience as an addition to your 3 day river trip!
My first helicopter ride (thrilling! not scary) to the river the next morning began our 3 day raft trip. Our guides Travis, Emily, RD and Steven worked tirelessly to make sure we had a first class experience. They were fun, professional, excellent cooks and interesting, friendly people.
We enjoyed sleeping outside (a first for me) under an amazing canopy of stars, rafting the rapids, eating fabulous meals, learning to use the outside toilet (fun and weird), and hanging out with new friends from around the globe.
The vacation value is excellent - no more expensive than a cruise but far more fulfilling!
