Colorado River Rafting Trip

I took my adult daughter on this rafting trip. It had been on my bucket list for many years and I decided if not now, when? So glad we made the trip down the Colorado River. Our four guides treated us very well. Each of us received personalized attention even while the guides took care of the entire group of 27. They attended to my specific food allergies and never made me feel like an annoyance.
The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, each with a different part of the Colorado River Story. The food was amazing. Every time we turned around we were presented with another gourmet meal--from homemade blueberry pancakes to eggs made to order. Dinners were wholesome, spaghetti with a delicious tomato based vegetable/beef sauce to steaks from the Bar 10 grass fed herd.
The boats were comfortable, accommodated everyone--those who wanted to ride the rapids and get soaked to those who preferred to sit dry in the "chicken coop."
For my daughter and I, we thought the four day experience was the perfect length. We loved our day at the Bar 10 Ranch, sleeping in covered wagons or under the stars, and the two plus days on the river. By day four we were ready to move on having had a great share of experiences. We won't forget the motto--dilute don't pollute. You'll have to take the trip to understand that saying.
We enjoyed the guides and the other travelers as well. Our multi-age group included families, siblings, cousins, single adults, and some older folks in good shape and ready to ride the rapids. The trip was well worth the time and cost. Well done Western River Expeditions.
