Early Season Grand Canyon Tours: Pristine Beaches, Moderate Temps, And Wildflowers!

Even on a full Grand Canyon seven day trip (including 6 days of down river travel) there is time to visit only a few of the fabulously scenic places along the river.
Early April, 2014 had May-like temperatures, which were ideally warm (not hot) by day and chilly (not cold) at night. Cacti were in bloom under clear, sapphire skies; the river ran fresh blue-green.
The two great Western River trip leaders, Craig and Evan, were exceedingly competent at navigation and cooking, security-minded and always available to answer our many questions.
My partner, who had never before even camped out or been white water rafting, was all smiles and we had a great time together. We agreed that this was one of our very best-ever travel adventures!
