Exciting time on the Main Salmon River!
This trip down the Main Salmon River was exciting for everyone in our group! From the time we got up in the morning in the cool mountain air and ate a delicious breakfast to the time we banked at our campsite in the late afternoons and shared a wonderful dinner, we experienced life on the river via raft, paddle boat and kayak.
Each day brought something new and fun. We saw brown bear, osprey, bald eagles, river otters, big-horn sheep, marmots, and many other animals we don't normally see on a daily basis.
Our guides were knowledgeable and took personal ownership of the quality of our trip. They worked very hard to insure we all had what we needed and never missed out on anything - including participation in the camp talent show.
The overnight camping accommodations were adequate for the river and provided interesting views from the outdoor bathroom areas.
Our kayaking treks afforded us the most excitement of the entire time and we wouldn't trade this experience for anything!
