This is an Experience That Everyone Should Have the Opportunity to Experience.

From the time we were picked up at the hotel until the time we returned, we were provided with excellent service and information.

The trip itself, was the experience of a lifetime. The Western River guides, in particular, did everything they could to enhance our experience, providing everything we needed to ensure our safety as well as encourage us to participate to the fullest extent possible.

For example, my wife and I were encouraged, but not pressured, to climb up to the "Falls" to see a beautiful sight. All of us were encouraged to leap into the river from a cliff beside the river - but not pressure in anyway. I remember walking to the edge of the cliff and thinking "I am 72 years old - why am I even thinking about doing this?" I then backed off, and the next thought that came to me was "I am 72 years old and this is the reason I need to do this!" I jumped - and loved the experience!

So much of the experience is related to our wonderful guides who were so knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and took every opportunity to share that knowlege with us. My wife and I were particularly impressed when the guides baked a cake for us as part of the last night's dinner, to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. So thoughtful - so caring. Thank you all for providing us with this wonderful expereince.
