Trip of a lifetime! Exceeded all expectations imaginable! The guides were fabulous! Friendly, caring, organized, lots of canyon history shared and most importantly funny and entertaining both on and off the river! Ronnie, you are the most knowledgeable history buff I know. You ROCK! (no pun intended)!
The food by far was a show stopper and amazing. Who makes homemade ice cream and bakes a cake on the river???? Western River Expeditions does!!!
Being on the Colorado River, in the heart of the Grand Canyon was so beautiful. The canyon walls are massive, the waterfalls are stunning and Havasu falls is a Caribbean oasis in the middle of the desert. Hermit Rapid....all I can say is Wowwww!!
To the fabulous foursome! Jeff-Ronnie-Wiley-Nick, now really, is there anyone better than you Fab Four??!! Every aspect of the trip was an incredible experience, from Ronnie's out of nowhere shark helmet and tutu, Wiley's peace dance with the crowd (or whatever dance that was) was entertainingly funny, Nick and Wiley's ball clacker performance Nick you killed it! Sorry Wiley! Captain Jeff, hats off to you for safe steering through Hermit and Lava, what a thrill of a lifetime.
Cheers to you four, you guys really are an awesome team. Keep sucking rubber and keep Powells Piano alive for future river runners to come!!
