Family Adventure Vacations
In a word this rafting trip was perfect. This adventure vacation is not for the faint of heart, there are BIG rapids ahead after all, but truly worth the time, money, and the “inconvenience” of living outdoors for 6 days. The Western River Expedition staff was fantastic from start to finish. The folks who answer the phones are very patient and knowledgeable. All our river guides- Lindsay, Cory, Dan, and Parker were simply the best. I always felt safe, genuinely cared for, pampered even, and they’re knowledge of the Grand Canyon and river was amazing.
The amenities of the trip were also impressive. The food was plentiful, well prepared, and the downright impressive for a trip down the Colorado River. What and how this company had EVERYTHING packed on 2 boats showed experience, organization, and attention to detail that is rarely seen.
I think the things that made this trip special were the place and the people. Being able to see the Grand Canyon from bottom up, was breathtaking. The guides and the group of people that were split between 2 boats were warm, friendly, enthusiastic individuals. It made the trip something my dad and I will never forget.
