Over the Moon

I cannot begin to describe this wonderful experience.  From the moment we were picked up at our muster spot, the trip just got better and better.

Nine of us traveled from different parts of the country for this awesome journey. Our ages from late 20's to mid 70's. We "unplugged" and let our trip guides lead the way to our adventure.

In spite of some rain, nothing got in the way of our good time. The ranch experience was tough to beat (thanks to Garth and his gang of merry makers!) but low and behold once we were off of our helicopter ride down to the canyon, we were met by the finest guides you can imagine. Big thanks to R.D., Tony, Grace and Scott. Their love of the canyon shines though on every inch covered.

The unspoiled beauty of the canyon and surrounding areas will bring tears to your eyes. The joking and humor can do that to you too! A great group of 28 of us experiencing the same thing at the same time bonded us together for these few days of magic. I learned so much in those few days from these wonderful people. The respect for life shines through all of them.

The topping on our cake was our evening serenades from Scott. So peaceful and calm, then off to our camping spot to star watch. I am not in the best of shape (3 back surgeries and cancer issues) but never felt like I could not do it. Everyone lent hands to keep everyone safe and equipment moving.

I will be driving everyone crazy for a while talking about this experience.  Don't regret not doing this trip. It will affect you for the rest of your life. Blammity Blam!
