Family Vacation
I took this trip with my Dad as a father/daughter team, a family vacation. The trip had unforgettable scenery, irreplaceable memories and was fantastic all around! We were fortunate to travel with folks we knew from our home town, but added in a few new faces as well.
The guides were very well versed in the history, geology and hydrology of the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. The food was spectacular - I have not eaten that well in many restaurants, frankly. There was much laughter, support, joshing and sharing of stories from all. Our guides were genuinely interested in how we all decided to take this trip together and seemed to enjoy our small Southern hometown approach to things. I would do the 6-day version of this trip in an instant!
