Great Guides, Great Time!
We couldn't be happier with our 2-day rafting trip through Canyonlands and Cataract Canyon. Jeff and Jace were perfect guides. They love their jobs - their river is a passion for them, and they know every inch of it. They took care of everything we needed, and even though they do this trip 3x per week, they made sure it was special for us.
The raft is very comfortable, and it handles the rapids like a champ (with Jace's expert piloting in our case). The whitewater is a thrill - a great adrenaline rush. Side trips to prehistoric Native American sites that you can only access from the river -- very cool. Food was top notch- Jeff, your steaks were grilled to perfection, and Jace even made a dutch oven chocolate cake for dessert.
If you are taking this trip -- follow the packing instructions to the letter! Western River does a great job of preparing you for your trip -- pack everything they tell you to -- including rain gear (you might be like us and get blessed with a midnight downpour!).
Western River Expeditions made everything easy, from booking, to planning, to packing and check-in. Would definitely go with them again.
