Life Changing Colorado River Adventures

5

| October 19, 2017

There are a few amazing places on this planet you cannot go alone. Rafting the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon is one of them. We brought 28 of our friends; ranging in age from 13 to 75, and with all levels of outdoor experience. The team from Western River led us into another universe and left us with memories and perspective that will last a lifetime.

Craig "Lucky" Lutke (on his 200th trip), Scotty, Kiefer and Mackay delivered a level of professionalism and immense fun that dazzled everyone on the trip. Every "tip" we got from people who had done the Grand Canyon before, these guys had already figured in. Wet sheets in July are a must and there they were in our bed-roll, ready to go! I will leave them their surprises and they will surprise you every day!

The whitewater, the hidden hikes, the history, and the geology were all deeply engaging. The Colorado River was scary and amazing. The Grand Canyon and its side-canyons are the source of "all magic" in the world. Take this trip, please, you will never be the same.
