We chose Western River Expeditions because they had been recommended to us.

The guides were fantastic. Where did you find them?! They knew and ran the rapids with great skill. They led interesting hikes at various stops along the way. They told us about the geology in the canyon, the history of the Grand Canyon, and the interesting characters from the early days in the canyon. They somehow got us all on the raft by 7:30 each morning. On top of all this, they were unbelievable gourmet cooks. From day one we were all addressed by our first name.
