The Best Family Vacation We Have Ever Had, It Exceeded Every Expectation!

Two weeks ago we were soaking wet, hot, dirty and laughing our heads off!

As I sit in my office today (while sipping coffee out of my Western River mug) trying to pick my ONE favorite picture to include on the website, I find it impossible to pick just  one picture to capture what we just experienced.  But this picture of us BEHIND Shinumo Creek Falls, has me smiling when I think of the greatest family vacation we have ever had.

This was an experience I have thought and dreamed about for over 30 years, when I first set foot on the South Rim. Although that is quite a view, I knew then, that to really experience the Grand Canyon, I had to raft the Colorado River.

Too often when we anticipate something for so long the reality does not match the expectation. The entire experience from scenery, rapids, hikes, new friendships, your fun, but totally professional guides and the bonding of our family exceeded it all.

My only sadness is when I think about how quickly it went. Thanks for helping make it all possible, Western River Expeditions.
