I was a little skeptical at first about going on this rafting trip. The water kind of scares me. But deep inside I knew it would be something awesome!
We purchased all the gear we felt we would need and off we went. And boy am I glad we did!
It was trip of a life time. A trip that only a select few get to go on. It was cold, it was exciting, it was beautiful, it was exhilarating, it was a time to forget all the crazy things that are going on in our everyday life, politics and Covid-19 and just enjoy river time!
Our first Colorado River rapid left me wanting more. And boy did we get more. We never knew what to expect with any of the rapids. But they were all fun! And camping under the stars was the best ever; falling stars, moving satellites, the Milky Way, the big and small dippers and so much more! The best experience ever and wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
And the guides Ben, Alexis, Steph and Andy were the best! So professional and so knowledgeable. I loved to listen to all the stories told by Ben along the way. He has an easy listening voice and knows his stuff! He navigates the river very well.
We definitely want to do this again with the whole family! Thank you Western River Expeditions for the wild ride!
