What an outrageously wonderful experience! It's hard to put into words because they aren't adequate to describe the grandeur of it all. The trip has to be experienced. Note: It is not a vacation. It's an adventure - and you better be in shape. :) It's also one of the most exciting and meaningful trips Cyndi and I have done. You are traveling through the hand of creation. It's an exciting and humbling experience. It's also a thrilling memory we will have for the rest of our lives.
The Western crew was a tremendous team of professionals. Hard working, great people with remarkable experience. Each of our captains had 30+ years on the river.
We were also blessed to be teamed with 26 other travelers who are as good as the world gets. Everyone bonds (especially about the joys of the groover). Everyone chips in and a small supporting tribe of adventurers is formed. Good people. Good stories. Great times. We hope to see everyone we met again.
We will be back.
