Beyond imagination! We just got back from a 3-day trip with our boys (14 and 11), and it's like we stepped out of a dream! From soaring in a plane to a breathtaking helicopter descent into the canyon, the whole experience was mind-blowing. We rafted wild rapids, hiked to stunning waterfalls, met awesome voyagers, and shared incredible meals. Photos and videos can't capture the magic of this adventure – it's something we'll be reliving for years to come.
A dip in the Colorado? Let's just say it's invigorating! River bathing is not for the faint of heart. For our 3 day trip we just counted the nonstop rinse cycle on the rapids as our bathing. While the crew handles most everything, be prepared to lend a hand with camp set-up and take-down each day. Think tents, cots, chairs, dry bags, and keeping your gear organized – it's all part of the adventure!
SLEEP UNDER THE STARS!! Ditch the tent and sleep under the stars! I can't emphasize this enough. You will never see this many stars and shooting stars in your life!
Now let's talk about the crew. Our guides were the absolute rockstars of this trip! They weren't just there to navigate the rapids. They kept us safe and pumped with adrenaline as we rafted whitewater (Suck rubber!!!), encouraged us with jumps into the frigid river, and led us on rope climbs to hidden waterfalls. But their expertise went beyond the adventure. They whipped up delicious meals each day, schooled us on the river's secrets and the Grand Canyon's rich history, and turned a fantastic trip into an unforgettable memory.
