WOW !! This trip was everything I thought it could be and so much more. The rafting was super exciting, but this trip was so much more.
The staff was excellent!! Hannah W, Ian, HJ, and Bridger made the trip memorable. They seemed as excited to take the trip as the rest of us. They were so genuine and took the time to get to know everyone and answer a million questions that we all had. Ian memorized all 30 names in minutes. I was so impressed!
I can't say enough about the care that was taken to plan for every aspect of the trip. The food was spectacular and not at all what I was expecting. I didn't need to eat any of the snacks I brought along. It took a few minutes to figure out how to set up our camp, but once we had it, we could set up and take it down quickly. It was my first experience sleeping outside under the stars; all I can say is that it was so magical I didn't want to close my eyes and miss anything.
Lastly, there were the amazing people who took this trip with me. My husband and I shared stories and got to know so many people from across the country. It was just another part of this trip that I wasn't expecting. Our group was 16 - 78, and everyone had a blast!
If anyone is unsure about taking this trip, I say, "Go for it!"
You will be changed for the better after 4 days on the river, I promise.
