If you are on the fence about this trip, I can help, just book it already! It was honestly one of the coolest experiences I will ever have. My mom, sister and I went on this trip together, all at different levels of camp experience and we all had an amazing time. What I want to highlight the most on this trip was our guides: Lat, Steven, Emmy, and Tommy. I was so impressed by their knowledge of the canyon and it's history, and they were prepared for any scenario; they made us feel safe but also like we were on an uncharted expedition. They cooked the most incredible food, I am still shocked at how well we ate on this trip, by the end of the trip we all were in agreement that we ate better on the river than any of us do at home with a full kitchen.
There is never a dull moment since you are surrounded by such untouched beauty, however, each day there is an adventure, usually a quick hike to a stunning waterfall. The guides were really great about helping people on the hike who needed it so everyone could attend if they wanted.
Another one of my favorite parts was being off of technology for 6 days and really getting to bond with the other people on the trip. This was the perfect trip to get off-grid and reconnect with family and your out-doorsy side. I would recommend at least some camping experience before you go on this trip so you know what to expect, but truly, anyone will enjoy this trip.
