Ben and Alora on our raft and Stephanie and RD on the other were fantastic! Very charming, very helpful, and I saw Alora pull off an amazing rescue on our boat while in the Hermit Rapid. I heard RD did a similarly amazing rescue on his boat. The food was excellent. I was initially worried about the effect of the heat on my wife but they emphasize hydration and took occasional breaks. It is not a trip for those who mind dirt, heat, or less than ideal privacy. We travel a lot and this was an overall amazing experience. The side trips into the canyons were a highlight. I still don’t understand how they were able to make such good food on the River. I highly recommend this Grand Canyon Trip and this outfit. Everything was well-planned and professionally implemented. And if you can get Ben or Stephanie as your captain, and Alora or RD as their assistants, you will be in great hands.
