No Cell Service for 4 Days!

My husband planned this trip for our family of 3 and our daughter's best friend. A trip like this has been on HIS to-do list forever(not necessarily on the other three of our party lists). We had a limited window to schedule due to the college student's schedules and the week we chose ended up being the week with a wellness and mindfulness component. This ended up being such an amazing added component.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience, and it was truly an experience, not just a trip.

The scenery as we expected was amazing. The guides and captain had it all. Superior guide skills(they instilled trust and confidence from the first minute to the last), mad cooking skills,(meals were amazing), multitalented with musical skills(not just your ordinary guides) and were just all around fantastic people, and these include every single one of them. The added dimension that Elise and Chris Jones brought to the trip was truly special.

The times we took to cut the motor each day and just be present and appreciate everything we were seeing and hearing and experiencing was so special. The yoga and stretching and learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable were true take-home lessons. One of our groups had a medical issue that was handled well with a good outcome. Our two girls(college-age students and best friends since age 3 were skeptics from the start).

No cell service for 4 days! This was truly out of their wheelhouse on so many levels(the groover), They both had a truly amazing time, not a complaint from either of them. The trip was so well done from start to finish and turned out to be so much more than we expected. This was an unforgettable experience filled with wonder, laughs, and new life skills. It's amazing what is out there if you open your mind and immerse yourself. We are so grateful for this experience. The sights we saw, the friendships we made, and the memories we will have to look back on from this trip are so special. Keep up the awesome work. As I write this I just looked at the Costa Rica trip, hmmm......
