I had only viewed the videos posted on Youtube prior to going. The videos don't come close to revealing the true experience and beauty of the Grand Canyon, the very, very cold water and the star filled skies. There is so much to learn about the rock formations and the history of the Canyon's discovery... listen closely to your guides and your experience will be even more enriching. There is a written test at the conclusion of the adventure. (kidding).
