My first week long river trip changed my life. To put it briefly I feel 19 again. So much melted away out there in the AWE of the canyon. If I ever were to prescribe anything it would be this trip. You can sleep under the desert sky and stars( no bugs), you get 3 gourmet meals a day, and you can choose your own adventure of white water fun based on where you sit on the raft. A fun bonus is flying over the canyon in a small plane to get there and helicoptering out at the end!!
