The river rafting tour was an incredible experience. The surrounding nature of red rocks, canyons, minerals, and formations, while peacefully drifting along the river or steadfastly paddling through gushing, were some of the best and most impressive features of the expedition. That, and going on hikes and walks to learn about the fascinating and historic petroglyphs and curious biology and geology of the place, were all that were part of making the expedition meaningful.
However, what also made the trip unforgettable, were our amazing seven guides: Laura, Ian, Isaac, Cayden, Jake, Mark, and Newty. Not only were they some of the most hardworking young people I’ve encountered, but they were fun, and positive, and they clearly loved being there, even in heat, dust, cold, and pouring rain. Thank you for this unique and fantastic experience!!
