We did Desolation Canyon with my husband, 7-year-old, and my parents. To say we had an amazing time is an understatement. I chose this trip since they allowed children. There were plenty of other kids on the trip to pal around with and he loved it. The rapids were enough to get a good ride, but not so daunting I had to worry about my son.
The guides were fantastic. They went above and beyond and we’re so personable. We had one challenging day with wind and it was amazing to see everyone come together To get things done the guides remained cool, calm, and collected. While the weather tried to ruin our day, it actually became one of the best on the river.
I could not have asked for a better experience. And when we go rafting again, hands down will go with Western River again. The views could not be beat. It was like being in a other world.
