This was my 5th river trip with Western River Expeditions in the last 6 years and I’ll have to say that each one was a five star experience (Grand Canyon, Westwater Canyon, Costa Rica and two Cataract Canyon trips).
Western River is obsessed with the details and that makes all the difference for a truly memorable experience. Our Grand Canyon guides (Stephen, Lutke, Travis and Justin) are passionate about the river and they love to share their expert knowledge of the beautiful country and its rich character-filled history at every turn and rapid.
They fed us extremely well and kept us entertained with crazy stories, beautiful slot canyons, refreshing waterfalls, and skilled impromptu concerts. Each day was packed full of fun adventures. It was so great to get lost for 7 days in pure recreation and beauty with no distractions from the outside world!
