This was a mind-blowing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Rapids were huge. The j rig boat is gigantic and cruises right through them with a healthy amount of splashing, and the right amount of danger to get your adrenaline pumping. I never felt unsafe. The views were spectacular. River guides were top-notch. Professional. Courteous. Knowledgeable.
The food was so good I gained 5 lb in one week. I've never eaten that well outside in my life. Grilled chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, eggs benedict, French toast, high-end sandwiches and wraps, and even ice cream. No idea how they pulled it off but they did. I've never seen stars like this before. I fell asleep in the Milky Way every night. Very few bugs. It's great to be in the desert at night. I would totally do it again. Worth every penny. Thank you so much Western River. One of the greatest vacation experiences of my entire life.
