Once in a Life Time Grand Canyon Experience

| August 8, 2017

Hiking Grand Canyon

Loved everything about the actual trip. Had no idea what to expect but it was an incredible experience and the guides were great.

The one thing that could be
1. Taking Diet restrictions/limitations more serious - I had actual diet restrictions based on allergies vs. someone who just does not want to eat meat. I am extremely allergic to shellfish and tree nuts and the last night we fed both. They put almonds or pecans in the green beans and did not alert me. It just so happened that my girlfriend took a bite before me and told me not to eat them. Also they had shrimp for appetizers right next to and touching the few cups of carrots for the people that couldn't eat shrimp. I can't eat or touch food has come into contact with shellfish. Tree nuts and shellfish will cause me to go into anaphylactic shock. I did have 2 epipens but this should be taken more serious if you are asking your customers to take the time to share this information.
