Sometimes in life you find someplace to both disconnect from the world while connecting even more to those around you. I was lucky to spend time with friends and make new ones in a beautiful place.
My wife and I took this same trip back in 2014 and had an amazing trip. When we landed in Marble Canyon and walked off the plan, we were excited to see Wiley and Scott, two of the same guides we had back on our 2014 trip. From that moment on, we knew this trip would be better than the last. This trip around though we also brought along eight of our friends to share the experience with.
The Western River office team was helpful and communicative for the months before the trip. The guides were professional, caring and friendly from the moment we landed in Marble Canyon til the helicopter took us the Bar 10 Ranch. The food was second to none. The experience of having a steak in the bottom of the Grand Canyon on a sandy beach cannot be beat. We were lucky and had an amazing group of other rafters and the group as a whole sat around in the evenings and had dinner together and talked until we went to bed.
