The Grand Canyon inspires awe, and our guides with Western River enhanced that in every way. On calm stretches of the Colorado, they explained the geology and recounted the lore of the Canyon. All the while, they navigated the river and kept us safe through roaring rapids. The memory of one guide rendering Irish folk songs in the Canyon as we slowly floated down the river still gives me chills. And the morning recitations of poetry gave us a daily reflection (or a laugh!) They prepared exceptional food, serenaded us on guitars and mandolins, led us on hikes and maintained a sense of professionalism and thoughtfulness. The crew is exceptional, the trip memorable. Thank you!
