Our Group

My husband, some friends, and I planned this trip over a year in advance. We knew Travis Pearce personally, and we were thrilled to have him as one of our guides. This experience far exceeded all of our expectations! The crew—Joe, JT, Nate, and Travis—prioritized safety while fostering a sense of camaraderie among everyone on the trip.

Our group consisted of 13 people and 28 guests. The guides brought us together with their deep knowledge of the canyon's raw beauty and rich history. What started as a group of 13 ended with us leaving as a close-knit group of 32 friends (28 guests and four guides). This was truly a trip of a lifetime!

THANK YOU for the experience Western River Expeditions!!

A special thanks to Bonnie for helping us organize the trip and for being so patient and responsive to our emails! JT for his beautiful singing, Joe for his leadership and for ensuring we were all safe, Nate for his swift action when we “Sucked Rubber” and his piano playing, and last but certainly not least, Travis for his expertise in navigating the rapids, sharing his knowledge of the Grand Canyon’s history, as well as his wit and humor!

Sincerely,

Barbara Larsen
