This is a trip of a lifetime! The Grand Canyon is awe-inspiring, and you absolutely should experience it with Western River Expeditions! WESTERN RIVER HAS IT DIALED IN! River Guides Stephen, Mairead, Kelly, and Hyrum were spectacular! They have years of river experience and are well educated on the geology, flora, and fauna of the canyon. They perform their job extremely well, from piloting the boat to managing logistics, cooking delicious meals, recounting history, and telling river stories…they do it with kindness, upbeat attitudes, and attention to safety.
Even my 16 and 18-year-old teens will agree that you will not miss electronics, wifi, and cell service. We all realized that throughout the trip, we didn’t think once about our responsibilities and scheduled lives at home…we truly were disconnected and living in the moment. We all ended the trip wishing we could stay longer.
