I have wanted to do this trip for many years, so I booked the trip when I received an email saying there were openings! My husband and I went in April, a bit chilly on the first day but the weather cooperated and warmed up nicely. The rapids were everything I had imagined, and I was able to enjoy them from all over the raft.
The food was incredible! I’m sure I gained at least 5pounds in a week! I don’t know where our guides kept pulling it out of storage in the raft but food continued to magically appear.
That brings me to our guides, Lucky and Bill, they were in constant motion 24/7 and really made the trip special. They were very knowledgeable about the canyon and the history of the canyon. They took us on hikes to many outstanding locations, never to be forgotten. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and I’m so glad to have taken it! Thank you, Western!
