The Desolation Canyon trip far exceeded my expectations. Our trip leader, Mya, and her team were exceptional. They were always concerned with our safety, comfort, and overall fun experience. They cooked great meals and were available to help with whatever we needed.
I did want to know more about the geological and history of the area but the booklet did provide a lot of pertinent information.
Bring a grandmother, I have to say, I was hesitant at first. But after our trip, I encourage people of all ages to experience the beauty, the laughs, the bonding, and the challenges of a rafting trip. Yes, you work to pitch your tent and assemble your cot and carry your gear, but it is worth the few aches and pains. Western River is a first-class company with an outstanding, professional staff.
