This peaceful scene demonstrates the awesome size and beauty of the Grand Canyon. We were daily treated to amazing views of the canyon and river. The brilliant colors and varied texture of the rocks and water kept our eyes glued to the ever-changing scenes (except when we were "sucking rubber" as we transited some particularly exciting rapids).
